At 7:49pm on March 19, 2008, Linda Smith said…: Comparisons? I found Mark to be sincere, informed, humble. In 2003 the issues were the same and I looked at the field of candidates, if you remember there were 7 vying for senate seat. The other candidates, save Jim DeMint, just did not impress me. Mark was very well versed and stood out in debates. I believe had Mark had the finances he would have been a front contender in '04. I know that Mark is a fighter, He understands integrity and he exhibits same. He is a fiscal conservative, social conservative, and he is a Patriot. He is not going to be limp rag when issues that will affect S.C. taxpayers and the country arise. He is a gentle man and I believe he will be an effective Senator who can and will work with Senator DeMint to insure that his constituency is well represented . I am very unhappy with the incumbent and believe that it is time to let him know his apparent lack of concern for the wishes of South Carolinians will not be tolerated. I hope this answers your questions.

I have never heard of him and don't know anything about him, so I wouldn't say that I am on board. I am open to finding out about what he stands for.
